Kingsand and Cawsand

Kingsand and Cawsand historic fishing villages offer quaint shops and galleries, friendly pubs and cafes serving great food. The pretty colour washed cottages dating back centuries line the narrow streets. The Cawsand ‘Weston Maid’ passenger ferry operates during the summer months from the Barbican in Plymouth to Cawsand Beach.

Millbrook

Millbrook is the largest village in the county and offers a varied selection of independent shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes including the local Co-op and Premier stores. Millbrook has a thriving community and residents are dedicated in maintaining the communal areas for the enjoyment of the village. The stunning tidal lake is home to a vast variety of wildlife and birds, ideal for budding twitchers. Southdown Marina is sheltered and well placed for exploring. The marina lies within the jurisdiction of the Queen's Harbourmaster. It is quiet, non-commercialised and friendly to visiting yachtsmen and their families. Berths are walk-on pontoons or quayside.

Mount Edgcumbe and Cremyll

Mount Edgcumbe and Cremyll Estate covers 865 acres and offers hours of pleasure exploring the formal gardens, national camellia collection and the parkland and coastal paths. The house which dates back to the mid - 16th Century and was restored after the Second World War, is open to the public and hosts numerous annual events. The Cremyll Ferry is regular foot passenger service which runs from Plymouth to Mount Edgcumbe.

Whitsand Bay

Whitsand Bay is simply superb with its sheer cliffs, dramatic scenery and beautiful golden beaches. Surfing lessons and Coasteering can be enjoyed all year around. There are restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy stunning sea views including the Eddystone Lighthouse. Whitsand Bay Golf Club is an 18 hole, par 70, private, links golf course established in 1905. Set on a cliff-top overlooking Whitsand Bay, the course offers golfers some of the most magnificent views in the West Country and some of the most stunning holes in British golf.
